Teacher of Advanced Placement / CAPSTONE
The role, which is offered on a two-year contract, will start in August 2022.
The Teacher of Advanced Placement / CAPSTONE will teach the following courses:
- S2 PreAP Psychology
- S3 AP Psychology
- S2 AP Seminar
- S3 AP Research
You will have:
- At least a bachelor’s degree in the subject area, or equivalent experience.
- A bachelor’s degree in education, or equivalent. Consideration will be given to teaching certificates or similar.
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
- Demonstrated experience in and knowledge of the Advanced Placement (AP) curriculum, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience, or equivalent, of working with second language learners.
- Excellent organizational and classroom management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to use a variety of teaching strategies.
- The ability to communicate effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team.

In addition, you must be able to:
- Obtain a visa to work in China.
- Provide the authenticated documentation required by the school and the Chinese authorities (a list will be provided to the successful candidate).
