The Opportunity
We are seeking a Teacher of Mathematics and Further Mathematics (A-Level) to join the high school program at Chengdu Shishi High School.
This position offers the chance to:
- Teach Cambridge A-Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics within a dedicated international center
- Work alongside overseas teachers from a variety of countries in a collaborative academic environment
- Support students preparing for competitive university pathways abroad
- Engage students through academic enrichment activities, including mathematics and physics competitions and international programs
About the Program
The international center follows Cambridge International Examinations for its A-Level program. Overseas teachers work in partnership with Dipont Education college counselors and school class tutors to provide a broad and supportive student experience.
The center runs a range of clubs and activities, including debating, music, and English competitions, ensuring students are well prepared for overseas university study. While the program offers a rich and varied experience, academics remain at the core. Teachers are expected to demonstrate strong subject expertise and a clear commitment to academic excellence.
Students are encouraged to develop a global outlook, with opportunities to participate in international mathematics and physics competitions, as well as overseas events such as summer camps in the United States and the London International Youth Science Forum.
